Day 01 Arrive Chennai Arrive at Chennai. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Stay at GRT Grand for the night. After a relaxed morning we enjoy an afternoon city tour of Chennai. Day 02 Chennai - Mahabhalipuram - PONDICHERRY Today we drive to the former French Colony of Pondicherry visiting the Mahabhalipuram, noted for its rock carvings and the shore temple. Later proceed to Pondicherry. Stay at Maison Perumal or Le Pondy for 2 nights. DAY 03 PONDICHERRY Today we explore the French quarters. DAY 04 PONDICHERRY - TANJORE - CHETTINADU After an early breakfast drive to Tanjore visiting Gangaikondacholapuram enroute. You could visit the Brihideshwara Temple and the Bronze Museum at Tanjore. Later proceed to Chettinadu. Stay at Visalam for 2 nights. DAY 05 CHETTINADU Full day at leisure to explore the village. DAY 06 CHETTINADU - MADURAI After breakfast drive to Madurai. Stay at Fortune Pandiyan for the night. Visit the Sree Meenakshi Temple Complex, Tirumala Nayak Palace and the Teppakulam Pond. DAY 07 MADURAI - PERIYAR Late morning drive to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Stay at Spice Village for 2 nights. Evening free to explore the town. DAY 08 PERIYAR Morning enjoy a spice garden visit. Later, enjoy a 2-hr motor boat cruise on Lake Periyar to spot wild animals. DAY 09 PERIYAR - KUMARAKOM After breakfast drive to Kumarakom. Stay at Coconut Lagoon for the night. Remainder of the day at leisure to relax at the resort. DAY 10 HOUSEBOAT After noon board your house boat for an overnight cruise on Vembanad Lake. Lunch, Evening Tea and dinner will be served on board. Day 11 Kumarakom - COCHIN After breakfast disembark at the boat jetty. You will be met by the driver and proceed to Cochin. Stay at Old Light House Bristow for 2 nights. Afternoon at leisure to explore the old town. Evening enjoy a traditional Kathakali Dance Show. DAY 12 COCHIN Morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Fort Cochin & Mattanchery. Later stroll down the Jew Street to hunt for spices, ethnic wears, jewelleries and antiques. Evening enjoy a 2 hr sunset cruise along the Cochin Harbour. DAY 13 DEPARTURE COCHIN In goodtime you will be transferred to Cochin International Airport to board your return flight.
