DAY 01 ARRIVE COCHIN Arrive at Cochin. You will be met on arrival and chauffeured to your hotel in Fort Cochin. Stay at Malabar House for 2 nights. Evening enjoy a sunset cruise along the Cochin harbour. DAY 02 COCHIN Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Cochin visiting Fort Cochin & Mattancherry. Later visit Kumbalanghi Model Tourism Village to experience the fishermen village. Evening witness Kathakali the traditional dance drama of Kerala. DAY 03 COCHIN - MUNNAR Today drive to the tea country of Munnar. Stay at Ambady Estate for 2 nights. DAY 04 MUNNAR Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit the Tea Museum and the Eravikualm National Park to see the endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr. DAY 05 MUNNAR - PERIYAR Late morning drive to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, visiting tea and spice plantations enroute. Stay at Spice Village for 2 nights. Late evening learn to cook with spices at the evening cookery classes. DAY 06 PERIYAR Early morning get ready for a nature trek in to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Late morning enjoy a spice garden visit. Afternoon at leisure to explore the spice town. Late afternoon enjoy a boat ride in Lake Periyar to see the wild elephants, sambar deer, Malabar giant squirrels, Indian Bisons and variety of species of birds. DAY 07 PERIYAR - KUMARAKOM Today drive to Kumarakom, which is famous for its backwater & scenic beauty. Stay at Coconut Lagoon for the night. DAY 08 HOUSEBOAT After a leisurely breakfast, board your Houseboat from the resort boat jetty for an overnight cruise with onboard lunch and dinner, covering the nearby villages and the ethnic life around these villages to Alleppey, through the famous Vembanad Lake. DAY 09 KOVALAM You'll enjoy breakfast on board the rice boat before arriving in Alleppey. Drive southward towards Kovalam. Stay at The Travancore Heritage for 2 nights. DAY 10 KOVALAM Full day at leisure to relax at the resort.
