Day 01 : Chennai Arrive in Chennai/Madras and our travel executives transfer you to the hotel. Overnight stay at Chennai/Madras. Day 02 : Chennai Chennai city tour visiting the tourist places like Kabalishwara Temple, Santhom Church, St. George Fort and Madras (Chennai) Museum. Overnight stay at Chennai/Madras. Day 03 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram Visit Kailasanatha Temple, Vaikunda Perumal Temple, Varatharaja Temple and Ekambareswara Temple at Kanchipuram, the city of temples in Tamil Nadu. Drive to Mahabalipuram. Overnight stay at Mahabalipuram. Day 04 : Mahabalipuram Spend the whole day at Mahabalipuram in sightseeing including visit to Arjuna's Penance, Five Rathas, Shore Temple, Tiger Cave and Krishna's Butter Ball. Overnight stay at Mahabalipuram. Day 05 : Pondicherry Drive to Pondicherry, visiting Auroville en route. Check into hotel at Pondicherry. After lunch visit Aurobindo Ashram. Overnight at the hotel in Pondicherry. Day 06 : Chidambaram - Kumbakonam - Darasuram Drive to Chidambaram to witness the special ceremony at the only Nataraja Temple in India. After lunch, drive to Gangai kondacholapuram, Kumbakonam and Darasuram. Overnight stay at Tanjore. Day 07 : Tanjore At Tanjore spend half day in city tour to visit Bragadeeshwara Temple, Art Gallery and Palace. Drive to Trichy/Tiruchirapally. Overnight stay at Trichy/Tiruchirapalli. Day 08 : Trichy Explore the city of Trichy/Tiruchirapalli including visits to the ancient Srirangam Vishnu Temple and Rock Fort Temple. After lunch drive to Madurai, the abode of goddess Meenakshi. Overnight stay at Madurai. Day 09 : Madurai Half day city tour including the visits to Mariamman Teppakulam, Meenakshi Temple and Nayak Palace. Afternoon free to have leisure time. In the evening attend night ceremony at the Meenakshi Temple. Overnight stay at Madurai. Day 10 : Periyar Drive to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary through lush green agricultural and hill areas to observe one of the biggest wildlife sanctuaries in India. Check into hotel. Take an afternoon boat ride on Lake Periyar in the picturesque surroundings. Overnight stay at Periyar. Day 11 : Kottayam - Cochin Option for boat ride and Spice Plantation tour at Periyar. Drive to Kottayam. After lunch take private boat on the backwaters to Alleppey. Car comes to pick you up in Alleppey to drive towards Cochin. Overnight stay at Cochin. Day 12 : Cochin Full day sightseeing tour visiting Fort Cochin, St Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, Spice Market, Matancherry Palace, Antique Market and Jewish Synagogue. Attend in the evening, the Kathakali dance program. Overnight stay at Cochin.
