Day 01 : Trivandrum Arrive in Trivandrum where our executives transfer you to hotel Travancore Heritage - 5kms south of the main Kovalam Beach with a private beach and excellent facilities including a professional Ayurvedic Centre. Day 02 : Trivandrum Spend the whole day relaxing at the beach. Overnight stay at Travancore Heritage. Day 03 : Trivandrum/Alleppey In the morning drive 4hrs to Alleppey and board your private houseboat. Travel through the lush green backwaters towards Kumarakom. On the way you will see various local activities of the people living along the backwaters. You get the instantly cooked delicious Keralan food along with the tourist places on the way. Overnight on board the houseboat. Day 04 : Alleppey/Kumarakom Arrive in Kumarakom. After breakfast disembark the houseboat at Whispering Palms Resort. Your day is free to explore the nearby Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Overnight at the Whispering Palms Resort. Day 05 : Periyar In the morning, drive 3.5 Hours to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and check into Hotel Tree Tops. In the afternoon go for a spice plantation tour and take a 2 Hour boat ride towards dusk to see the animals including elephants, sambhar, gaur and deer. Overnight stay at Hotel Tree Tops. Day 06 : Periyar/Munnar A morning drive of 3 hours takes you to Munnar. The drive is very scenic with many places ideal for photography. Extensive forests and tea plantations surround Munnar, a hill resort. Check into Hotel Tall Trees in the city. Make an afternoon visit to Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Thar. Overnight stay at Hotel Tall Trees. Day 07 : Munnar Take a morning drive of 4hrs to Cochin and check into Heritage Fort. An afternoon visit to Fort Cochin area including Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish synagogue and spice markets. In the evening watch a performance of Kathakali Dance. Overnight stay at the Heritage Fort. Day 08 : Munnar/Cochin Your journey concludes at the Cochin airport from where you catch a flight for an onward journey or your way back home.
