Taj Garden Retreat occupies three and half acre of estate of coffee, spices and fruit trees. It touches the periphery of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The rooms of the resort are made thatched roofs, wooden décor and natural furnishing giving you the look of a village. The resort is surrounded by immense natural beauty at an altitude of 2,700 m above the sea level to make you linger your stay.
Accommodation The Taj Garden Retreat has 32 centrally air-conditioned rooms built in cottage style but well appointed with all the contemporary amenities. All rooms have elegant wooden décor, natural furnishing and private balconies. Guest can facilitate of the amenities including color television with satellite connection, international direct dial facility and a mini-bar.
Dining Facilities The food at restaurants and bars of the Taj Garden Retreat is a treat to a gourmet. The Dining Room restaurant serves Continental and Indian cuisine including authentic food of Kerala for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Bar is well stocked and has a wide range of spirits and beverages. The Bonfire Bar is an open-air bar where chairs and tables are laid out around a bonfire. You will find cocktails, mocktails, juices and cocktail snacks along with the pleasant beats of the recorded music every evening starting from 7.30 P.M.
Conference Facilities Taj Garden Retreat is the most preferred conference venue by the business travelers in Thekkady. The hotel has one Meeting Room that can conveniently accommodate up to 40 persons in theatre-style seating arrangement.
