 Accommodation
Somatheeram Beach Resort has 50 rooms built like traditional wooden houses, stone bungalows and cottages. Each room is a masterpiece of architecture and décor. Sidhartha is palace-house built of granite with a spacious octagonal living room, a lavish bedroom with king size bed. The steps lead towards a terrace, an open courtyard with a palm tree and an open roof bath. Illam is built like a traditional Kerala houses of wood with antique doors and furniture. Each house has one living room and another room. There is an exclusive compound with manicured vegetation and the view of the ocean. Arappura is also a traditional Kerala house made of wood with two rooms. The wood based house. Jeeva and Jyothi are once again Kerala house with two bedrooms rented separately. It lies on the slopes to the beach surrounded by coconut grooves. Nalukettu, again a traditional Kerala house with four bedrooms mostly built of wood with a porch and an inner open courtyard overlooking the ocean. There are two types of cottages of round thatched roofs, build of mud and bricks one offers a sea view and other does not.
Dining The restaurant of the Somatheeram Beach resort is multi-cuisine, which serves Regional, Tandoori, Mughlai, Kerala, Continental and Chinese cuisines.
