A remarkable addition to the fascinating
silhouette of Alleppey is the Pagoda Resort. It is a perfect blend of ethnic royal
charm gracefully adorned with rooftops similar to Japanese Pagodas. The stunning
and elegant Pagoda was designed by incorporating traditional elements of Kerala.
Alleppey
is famous for its backwater canal network and is termed as the "Venice of
the East". The Pagoda is a form of oriental architecture, based on the mysticism
of a balanced confluence of life’s elements. This aspect helps one to be
relaxed in the ambience of the resort. It is a 3-star resort.
It is 2 km
from the Alleppey railway station while 500 meters from Alleppey Bus stand. Trivandrum
airport is about 150 kms away while about 85 kms away is located the Cochin airport.
With
its proximity to the main town and boat rides over the lagoon ensure a connection

Accommodation
Pagoda provides self contained, gracefully furnished air-conditioned cottages
with en-suite bathrooms and modern amenities. Sit-outs with cool breeze complements
the cottages. One can enjoy the rustic atmosphere in absolute privacy through
the whispering trees.
Pagoda also offers stylish air-conditioned deluxe
ornamented double rooms and suites. A total of 53 rooms awaits guests at Pagoda.
From the reception lobby, the warmth of the hospitality is felt not only in the
smiles of the staff, but also in the careful selection of the decor. Pagoda currently
has 12 cottages and would very soon have another 24 rooms.
