Overview
Marari Beach Resort, formerly known as the Casino Group or a CGH Earth Group. It is situated at 60 kms from Kochi, set in 25 acres of Coconut Palm groves leading to the vast beach.
Originating from the word "Mararikulam", Marari, is the local fishing village, where life goes on as much as expected a hundred years ago. Everyday several fishermen throng to catch fish from the sea. Marari offers endless miles of superb sand beaches at the backdrop of swaying palms, a territory where one can experience the traditional Keralite hospitality at it's best.
The Marari Beach is built in the traditional fishing style. The villages are thatched villas that have been designed to be in totality with the local village style.
Facilities
The facilities at the Marari Beach Resort, Kochi includes the following facilities like:
- Recreation : There is a large swimming pool with sun terrace near the main buffet restaurant, bar while an amphitheatre where various shows are performed. Cots and Cozy Hammoks have been evenly distributed in the grove. The beach Volleyball "court" will be a fun place for a friendly match and for the more adventures, bicycles are available at the reception for discovering the neighbourhood.
- Cuisine : The "beach-shack" set amongst the Coconut Palm facing the beach, serves as a delicious fish and sea food. A bar and a buffet restaurant where everyday meals are served.
Ayurveda
- The Marari Beach offers the following therapies at It's Ayurvedic Center under the guidance of an expert Physician whom one should consult for a complete understanding of symptoms and apt treatment. It's well equipped with dispensary and a qualified resident staff.
- Sirovasthi: A treatment that anoints the head with special herbal oils. Good for headaches and Vatha originated ailments. Proposed period: 7 days or according to condition.
- Njavarakizhy: A treatment that induces perspiration through the external application of medicated rice concoctions. Good for joint pains, arthritic conditions and certain skin diseases. Proposed period: 14 days or according to condition.
- Dhara: A mental relaxant consisting of herbal oils and medicated butter milk poured on the forehead and sometimes on the body as well. Good for insomnia, mental tension and certain skin problems. Proposed Period: 7 to 21 days or according to condition.
- Pizhichil: A special kind of massage with herbal oils. Good for rheumatic ailments and nervous disorders. Proposed period: 7 to 14 days or according to condition.
- Massage -General: The body is massaged with herbal oils and powders. Tones improves circulation and restores energy and vigor.
- Udvarthanam: A massage with herbal powders. Good for obesity, paralysis and certain rheumatic disorders. Proposed period: 14 to 28 days or according condition.

- Medicated Steam Bath: The body is exposed to the rejuvenating vapors of special leaves and herbs that are boiled. Eliminates toxins, reduces fat tissue and good for certain skin disorders.
Accommodation
Marari Beach Resort possesses 400 sq.ft of spacious villas all air-conditioned with twin or double beds, mini bar, coffee making facilities and exquisitely furnished veranda with ceiling fan. The bathrooms , being spacious with modern amenities are built in traditional Keralite style with an open-air courtyard, complete with a banana or Pappaya tree.
Each villa also has a small private garden area. The deluxe villas have the same facilities added to a separate sitting area which can accommodate extra two people, are situated in it's own ground with its private swimming pool.
